(1) Overseas students should be abide by the administrative rules of the University, take good care of public facilities, and maintain the normal order in the campus, stress on manners, stress on decorum, stress on public hygiene, and unite the classmates, concern with the collective interests, and love labor, and create actively a clean, beautiful, peaceful and safe studying and living environment.

(2) The overseas students should reside in the campus in principle. The overseas students who intend to reside outside the campus should apply for approval from International Education College, and handle the residence permission procedure or changing procedure at Exit and Entrance Section, Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau with the letter of introduction given by Overseas Students Department and residence document (yellow page).

(3) The University encourages and supports the overseas students for their recreational and sports activities beneficial to the physical and mental health, and prohibits indulgence of alcohol and gambling, and circulation, duplication, reading and watching of the pornographic books and audio-video products.

(1) The overseas students in obedience to the University's rules and regulations and with qualification in physical education can participate in the evaluation of “Good Students Scholarship”.
(2) The overseas students in violation of the rules and regulations will be punished based upon “Notice to Overseas Students”.
