China International Acupuncture Training Center is a sole acupuncture training institution designated by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, for international education and is in a long coordination with WHO. Its training affairs have been accomplished by three international training centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing. For over thirty years, China international acupuncture training center has offered training courses of acupuncture and others to the students from over 100 countries and regions.

1.  Courses Introduction
Professors, specialists and scholars famous at home and abroad will be invited from Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing to instruct lectures in the advanced acupuncture seminar. The seminar will include the special features of acupuncture science of southern and northern China and will fully display the current highest level of Chinese acupuncture science.
The contents of main courses are:
1.  Special Topics on Acupuncture Clinical Treatment
Unique effective prescriptions in the acupuncture treatment of various types of pains, treatment of the pathological changes in the neck and low back by TCM pattern identification and application of acupuncture therapy, treatment of insomnia and depression by combination of the acupoints upon the theory of yin, yang, qi and blood, treatment of asthma by three-acupoint, five-needle and cupping method, reports of studies on acupuncture prescriptions for various types of obesity, main features of cosmetic acupuncture and drug addiction acupuncture, and clinical observation on clinical therapeutic effects in acupuncture treatment of withdrawal syndrome, treatment of urinary syndrome by electric acupuncture with integration of Chinese medicine and western medicine, etc.
2.  Topics on Special Therapies of Famous Acupuncturists
Treatment of diseases caused by nervous and muscular disturbance such as cerebral apoplexy and cerebral palsy by throbbing acupoints, qigong acupuncture, special Guasha method, special cupping method,  herbal cupping method, etc.
3. Topic on Clinical Application of Acupuncture Theory
Academic connotation and clinical value and application of eight extraordinary meridians, treatment of chronic injury pain by application of the theory of muscular meridians of “Inner Canon” in combination of acupotomy, etc.

2. Recruitment of Students
1.  Students graduated from acupuncture training courses of China international acupuncture training center
2.  Overseas TCM practitioners and acupuncturists with certain basic knowledge
3. Time and Venue
Two seminars each year, three weeks per seminar, one week in each center
Spring Course:    Start at Monday of the last week of March, Shanghai—Nanjing--Beijing
Autumn Course: Start at Monday of the first week of September, Beijing-Nanjing--Shanghai
4.  Instruction Mode and languages
Multiple instructions of theoretical studies, classroom demonstration, clinical visit, discussions and issues shootings will be adopted and multiple translation of English, Japanese, French and Korean language will be provided.   
5.Tuitions
1. Tuition:  16000 RMB/ person
The tuition includes the following items: transportation fee among three cities and sightseeing expenses in three cities.
2.Hotel and food expenses of the students will be born by the students. The center will help to make hotel reservation.
Three-star hotel:  300RMB per day (including breakfast, and the rates are subject to change without prior notice)
3.Discount (group or individuals)
6-10 persons, 5% off; 11-20 persons, 10% off; over 21 persons, 15% off
The students studying in the international acupuncture training center in three cities can enjoy 5% discount with the certificate of accomplishment.

7.   Application Procedure
After <Application Form for Advanced Acupuncture Seminar of China International Acupuncture Training Center> is downloaded from the websites of three centers and completed carefully, the application form is emailed or mailed to either center of the three centers. After the application is proved, <Admission Notice for Advanced Acupuncture Seminar of China International Acupuncture Training Center> will be issued unanimously by three centers. The students can come to China via applying for a tourist visa and register and pay related tuitions with <Admission Notice> in the morning of the first day of the course at the fist center.
